North Fulton February 2006 Newsletter
“It Takes Power to Lead”
President News
As Incoming LP for North Fulton's New Generation Of Leaders, I am going to brag on My Team the North Fulton Incoming Board of Directors 2006.
It is so GREAT to have a Board! I feel like the luckiest president in the universe! I feel like we are going to go to the
super bowl of Jaycees.
The Incoming (board ) TEAM is excited about this year and expressed this at our retreat last weekend. We have some great new projects planned along with our favorites.
In the Community Area: We are building upon the foundation started last year with our JAYS Program and our Partners in Education. One of our goals is for the City of Alpharetta to know who we are in a positive way.
Jessica Rich has quite a few projects planned to help us off to a great start and for the rest of the year as well!
In the Membership Area: We are traveling to new places because the incoming membership Vp has done his homework!
Kenny C.C. Buckles has several field trips planned this year along with a membership plan that is truly out of this world!
In the Management Area: We have new projects along with our favorites planned. If your company likes to sponsor events, Andrea Perry would like to know. She will be the management vp and I am sure she will be
doing an excellent job to get us into the black. Also working super hard is Dusty McKeon, he is our WEB-MASTER for the chapter website.
Just to see if ya'll are paying attention: The North Fulton's Year -end Awards and Installation Banquet
will be Monday February 13, 2006 at 7:30 at our Clubhouse. It will be a Valentine's Theme.
In the Individual Development Area: Due to an unplanned hiatus in the competition areas in 2005, I am rest assured North
Fulton will be having competitors at region and state this year. This is
according to our IDVP Tony Crespin. Tony has stated that he will have
competitors at the end of each trimester.
The team has Four SUPER D Duper Directors: Cassie Crocker, Sarah Hanratty, Scott King and Karen Whitfield.
Our money man is Tony Crespin and the newest member of the team is our secretary Maria Basting!
Chief of Staff: Wendell Whitfield He is the Man that helped us with our Plan! Superb Training at our retreat.
Also expect to see us We will be visiting too.
The North Fulton Jaycees President's Challenge for the month of January is to bring yourself and a dish or dessert or guest to the Year end Banquet February 13th at the Clubhouse at 7:30pm. WE will be having a raffle to help benefit St. Jude's.
It takes Power to Lead,
Julie Papp
